2020 : 'the shift and things to be considered' -- a series 
Venus on a loop 

Venus began its retrograde period on 13 May '20 at 21°50 Gemini which will last through 25 June '20
she aligns with the Sun on 3 June '20 at 13°38 Gemini 

there's something really outstanding about the 2020 Venus aspectarian and in particular about this Venus-Sun cycle 
i couldn't possibly cover all the inter-dimensional implications in a post, 
but here are some hints to ponder upon :

- during the coming years Venus will rule Uranus' transit through Taurus -- playing an essential role in the "shift"
- Venus conjuncts Neptune in Pisces 27 January, opposes it 18 October 
and squares it four times in 2020 :  3 May, 20 May, 27 July and 30 December 
- Venus opposes Mars 9 November and squares it three times in 2020 : 26 January, 2 June and 4 September 
- on 3 May, Venus conjunct Sun in Gemini forms an opposition to the great attractor and a square to Mars
- while the portal is activated with the Moon at 15°34 Scorpio pulling Mercury Mars and Uranus into a kite.. the Sun enters its conjunction to Venus which also happens two days before the lunar eclipse in Sagittarius

it was recently brought to my attention 
that while she stands for love, sex, beauty and fertility .. you know all the godly myths 
as a planet Venus is actually the most hostile place of the solar system because of its sulphuric atmosphere
and in light of the current planetary aspects 
it's interesting to recall how in Roman mythology 
Venus was born of her father Uranus' penis and testicles cast off to sea by Saturn.

as for interpreting some of the many impacts Venus retrograde is having now
i will start 
by describing the Sun Venus cycle in Gemini
as a dualistic crossroad : in other words we will have to make up our minds in re. to some situations (matters of the heart, love, relationships, money, and more generally what we value)

and 
by stressing the importance of the square to Neptune as the transit is actually rather long and with all the back and forth it lasts for almost three months 
we will therefore be under this influence for the whole period .. 
and as can be expected with a Venus Neptune mix we could 
- be looking for an unrealistic earthly perfection 
- be drawn into all sorts of fantasies
- be disappointed used or betrayed by loved ones 
- be taken advantage of by some shady individuals
- trick ourselves into self-delusions 
- feel confused about reality due to our own projections 
- pursue hopeless impossible romance 
- play the victim or the saviour 
or 
- need to forgive wrongs
- feel compassion and empathy 
- feel elevated to an otherworldly plane
- feel at one with the cosmos

there are so many possible scenarios as to how aspects may play out and any Venus contact with Neptune tends to be rather expressive and creative.

as a result the choices we make will be determined by our feelings -- and the more aware we are of our motivations and how our psyche operates, the more aligned our choices will be to our heart and soul.
