To the individual who lives in a state of ardent and sustained faith it may become possible to become a channel for the trans-mission of a knowledge or wisdom that transcends his normal mental understanding. The mind that has learned to be silent and attentive can become attuned to the rhythm of utterances which he may not comprehend intellectually, yet which may truly manifest superhuman realizations. Discrimination is needed here to balance the over-eagerness of faith.
At this stage we are given a hint as to man's capacity to attune himself to sources of higher wisdom if he can be sufficiently attentive and careful in channeling a "higher Voice." To stress here the negative element of automatism and unintelligent repetition is to use only one's intellect. All birds in symbolism suggest spiritual faculties or forces. What is evoked is the possibility of learning from higher Intelligences.

(Persian: منطق الطیر‎, Manṭiq-uṭ-Ṭayr, 1177)
is a most precious and celebrated literary masterpiece of Persian literature by Sufi poet
Farid ud-Din Attar, known as Attar of Nishapur. 
The title is taken directly from the Qur’an, 27:16, where Sulayman (Solomon) and Dāwūd (David) are said to have been taught the language, or speech, of the birds (manṭiq al-ṭayr).

God is not outside ourselves or outside the universe, but rather is the totality of existence.
The bird is the symbol of the one who is able to leave the mainland to go to Heaven and return back.
Qaf is the mountain, endowed with the capacity of reaction to the deterioration by men and movements
Tuba is the ecological niche for human beings’ necessary return towards an awareness of their environment
Simorg is the royal bird through which life continues on Earth, it is the symbol of winged and elevated air-beings and angels 
The birds symbolise men, imperfect but able to rise spiritually even if they have to return to the material dimension of life.
