Well as a stepping out of the memorable trials of 2010, this last month has been quite challenging !
We recently had the total Lunar Eclipse at 29° Gemini on the Solstice, less than two degrees opposite the Galactic Center, reactivating matters that had come to light during the course of the past few years; it was followed on December 26-27 by the Sun aligning with Pluto at 5° Capricorn thus indicating that certain "secrets" or issues are revealed and made manifest in a rather dense form.
As if it were not enough then on the 29th, hours before Mercury finally went direct in Sagittarius - to progressively clear our recent muddy thinking - Mars in Capricorn squared Saturn in Libra, asking us to abide our time while testing our courage, patience and ability to meet frustrations, obstacles and restrictions!
2011 started on its first day in a lighter mode with the Moon entering Sagittarius after she'd fully activated during the last hours of a difficult year, a passionate Venus in Scorpio' optimistic approaching trine to Jupiter.Uranus in Piscis.
But the real start for 2011 happens on January 4th along with a myriad of messages!

An Ancient Bas-Relief Carved In Granite Remains A Witness To A Long-Forgotten Culture
according to Rudhyar - it is about the will to unearth, in our culture as well as in any culture, what has permanent value, and to let go of non-essentials .. requiring thus historical perspective.
This symbol does underline the importance of past cultural achievements and of enduring spiritual principles as fundaments that may always guide us.
Let's look at some of the planetary aspects in the above chart :
- a New Moon aligned with the nodes partially eclipsing the Sun at 13-14° Capricorn
while closing into a Square to Saturn (still in a separating Square with Mars)
stands at the mid-point between Pluto and Mars in Capricorn (wow, how powerful!!).. inciting many ambitions
and forms a Semi-Square to Venus in Scorpio
thus reminding us all-in-all that matters and projects at hand require much effort and perseverance, responsibility in the use of power, serious organization, realism and our full commitment to ensure grounded enduring partnerships and future accomplishments.
it also denotes criticism and a lack of tolerance towards people in power/elite and any of their mistakes.. demanding that the law be applied to ALL no matter their status
- a fully activated Venus about to leave Scorpio for Sagittarius (on the 7th),
by forming a blessed trine to Jupiter and Uranus in Piscis - it offers much relief, faith and inspiration .. it may also represent a call from our higher self to serve a cause .. or it may just indicate for some of us a time to have fun and party!
but thru her Square first to Neptune and later to Chiron in Aquarius - it requires some caution over money and romance AND inner alignment and discernment about our exhuberant feelings because things may not be all they appear.
- Jupiter and Uranus make their third (since May) and last conjunction at 27-28° Piscis (they won't meet again for another 13 years - please see my previous posts),
making us more bold and adventurous as a whole
also offering a creative burst of energy, groundbreaking scientific information about the universe, another round of lucky surprises and hope for the future.
For this Eclipse, I've had a vision of the Ouroboros ..
the snake/dragon eating its tail
as a guardian of Time, it demands of us to assume FULL responsibility for our thoughts, our actions and .. who we are
before we are allowed to fulfill our potential, meet new opportunities and move on to the next "level"
if not, then we stay bound by cyclic repetitions
but it is also a major symbol in alchemy, a mandala representing the Self in its totality
and the rebirth that comes after destruction of the old
remember when one thing ends another begins
it is about the spiritual transformation
much needed at this crucial crossroad
in each and all of us
if you want a new world, don't expect it to happen outside your 'self'
you ought to do your own bit (with enthusiasm and a smile - it works wonders)
if you want, you can .. no matter the cost
so postpone no more .. get on with it
