Depending on your time zone, the Sun enters Aries late Wednesday or early Thursday, marking a new astrological year with the Vernal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere (Autumn Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere).
Fueled with the spirit of rebirth, this equinox alignment is immediately and emphatically followed by the Libra Full Moon on Friday, promising some surprises.

An explosive t-square between Pluto in Capricorn (read my earlier post about Pluto), Mars in Cancer, and the Sun in Aries will turn into a Grand Cardinal Cross, an aspect calling for integration and perfect equilibrium when the Moon moves into Libra and opposes the Sun during Friday's Full Moon.
The grand cross announces a turning point in our collective destiny, and it will particularly affect individuals who have key points in those degrees of their charts.

Pluto will bring to the surface any hidden emotional and psychological issues that demand to be acknowledged and dealt with before healing can take place. The best thing then is to stop clinging to outdated ideas, values, behaviors, etc... and surrender to the need for this spring cleaning. At its worst untamed, impetuous, and hot-headed chain reactions with more political upheaval and violence will sweep away the 'old forms' to make way for the new.
The old MUST make way for the new, whether we like it or not.

It is critical that we understand that the zodiac is helping our new projects, and new ideas in the spring (to be deepened in summer, harvested and adjusted to in autumn, and contemplated upon in winter - before we start over again)...

Here is one way to prepare your energies: contemplate the past before you decide what the proper plan for this new astrological year is. Then on the day of the equinox let go of what proved not to work for you, forgive the wrongs that were done to you, and pay amends for the wrongs you originated = this is an appropriate 'inner' cleaning necessary before you go ahead with your new course.

Once we plant a seed with a certain 'intention' or energy, it will necessarily develop into the given path we must travel later.

Warm blessings to all who support in Truth, Love, and Hope the new Light, approaching this week with the energies of the Equinox and the Full Moon.
Following the powerful February eclipses and ready to expand our evolution, may the pure-hearted ones pass the gateway, connect to higher realms, and channel through their "thoughts, words, actions and emotions" the auspicious energy of initiation, rebirth and compassion to everyone else.

note:
libra Full Moon: about Scales

The Fool is looking for a new path, a new aspiration, and inspiration for his life. Sitting uncertain at a crossroads, he notices a blind wise woman listening to two brothers argue over an inheritance. They have come to her for judgment. The woman listens and then awards half of the rich brother's inheritance to the poor brother. The Fool thinks this is only fair, but neither brother is happy. The rich one hates losing half his wealth, and the poor one feels he ought to have gotten all.

"You were fair," he remarks to the woman after they have left. "Yes, I was," she answers plainly. "With only half the inheritance, the rich one will stop being so wasteful. And the poor one will have as much as he needs. Even though they cannot see it, this decision was good for both."

The Fool thinks about this, and new insight into his own life comes to mind. He realizes that he has spent his life achieving worldly ambitions, and physical goods while leaving his spiritual self to starve, primarily because he didn't want to make the sacrifices necessary to feed his spiritual self. Now, he sees that this is necessary, the only path he has not walked, one he must walk to regain his equilibrium. Thanking the woman, he heads out with a new purpose. It is time to balance his own inner scales.
