Ever since Pluto entered Capricorn on January 25, you've probably been examining your life conditions, wondering where you want your life to take you. You've been trying to figure out which will be the ambitions and projects you want to invest yourself into. 
If you have felt this, then be prepared for the next chapter:
Pluto turns retrograde on April 2, so you can review your new plans.

May I remind you a few things: 
1- Pluto rules Scorpio the sign of power issues as well as their misuse. 
2- Pluto is the energy, motives, purpose, and integrity of any form of power is made of. 
3- In fact it is all the hidden motives in a person wielding power. 

In the sign of Capricorn, a fear of authority will call upon our inner strength to become stronger than the outer situation: that is a typical "trial by fire" response to Pluto-related situations.
So when activated, Pluto brings to the fore situations that contain issues of power: the kind of situations where we strive to rise to a feared outer power greater than our own. 
So easily can words be used as a front but the unseen deep motives will explode at times, like a volcanic explosion revealing the elements buried deep within.

The way we respond to these situations remains our choice. Whether real or perceived, the power greater than ourselves triggers a response in us that reflects our intention. Some will be "tit for tat" revengeful types - or in equally harmful ways to the outer power play, others will grow their inner qualities and will be greater in their expressions. 
Similarly, a person in a position of power can either fulfill his/her responsibilities in the highest order, or to gain even more advantage he can wield his power aiming at others in a destructive competitive manner.

Power is mesmerizing for all involved: the person in power as well as the one subjected to it. It creates jealousy, hate, and resentment - the dark side of Scorpio. Some are so attached to power, that they'll cheat and sell/kill their mother to preserve or gain power.

But then when these issues are overcome in the pits of trial by fire, the lighter side of Scorpio comes out with the soul rising like an eagle soaring towards a greater/freed self.
