we are what we love

The spiritual meaning of the Diwali celebration is about the awareness of the inner light , something beyond the physical body and mind which is pure, infinite, and eternal, also called the Atman.
Diwali is the celebration of this inner light, in particular the knowing of which outshines all darkness .. to rejoice in the Inner Light (Atman) or the underlying reality of all things (Brahman) brings Ananda (joy or peace).

a New Moon at 14° Scorpio :
Telephone Lineman At Work Installling New Connections
according to Rudhyar, this represents the need for new channels of communication and understanding.
A few things I notice here:
- The Sun and Moon stand alone with Vesta, in a bare semi-sextile to Saturn in Libra and a trine to Lilith in Pisces.
- Water is largely predominant with 5 bodies in Scorpio : Retrograde Venus which recently conjuncted the Sun is to leave it shortly, while Mercury is still there in a dynamic and eager trine to Jupiter.Uranus conjunct in Pisces and in a square to Neptune.Qiron.
- the waters of new emotional grounds form here a receptive container and, furthermore, Pluto is an axis in the figure - operating from within: in the early degrees of Capricorn it is merging with the North Node and Ceres (exact on Nov. 11).
- Five is a key number to both the Venus/Earth and the Ceres/Pluto cycles. In this chart, Venus is bQ Jupiter and Pluto is Q Lilith : the Quintile (72° = 360° divided by 5), a positive aspect of a spiritual nature, indicates a talent with effortless reaped benefits.
Five is the Human Incarnate number, both as a protective Hamsa with its five fingers of the hand and as a Five Pointed Star of the iconic Vitruvian Man.
The image that comes to my mind for this Diwali, is clear and simple: that of someone in a meditative attitude who surrenders to his inner light and perceives the Rainbow as an emanation from all beings ..
