flying through the night

When a house is on fire,
the vessel salvaged
is the one that will be of use,
not the one left there to burn.
So when the world is on fire
with aging and death,
one should salvage [one’s wealth] by giving:
what’s given is well salvaged.
the vessel salvaged
is the one that will be of use,
not the one left there to burn.
So when the world is on fire
with aging and death,
one should salvage [one’s wealth] by giving:
what’s given is well salvaged.
Whoever here is restrained
in body, speech, and awareness;
who makes merit while he’s alive:
that will be for his bliss after death.
in body, speech, and awareness;
who makes merit while he’s alive:
that will be for his bliss after death.

alright this is my first 2018 astrology post, it is about the first full moon in Herculean times
and about its fate-full kite planetary formation of which I can speak from the heart of my own experience
I keep beating your ears with cycles and patterns
but under this Moon i could also tell you about hereditary patterns and karmic refrains
about how there can be no Life without Love for it is the generating Source
about how there can be no evolution, spiritual path or Transcendence without Metamorphosis ..
about how there can be no Metamorphosis without a creative integrative act of Love
or the resolution of a conflict/paradox/opposition
Cancer rules the house which holds our roots and the cauldron where the sap brews
and this Moon is a reminder
that home and family is where we instinctively belong in the face of the growing pressures of the outside world
that without emotional support or a nurturing private life it is more difficult to project oneself into the world
that the past is our teacher
that there can be no moving forward without having thoroughly integrated past experience
that life is like a fragile beautiful flower offering its mysterious scent during a fleeting moment

this Cancer Full Moon may bring back memories of our childhood, our family history
or sequences of formative psychological factors ..
it represents a time of seeing
it challenges us to release all that prevents us from forgiving others, from truly loving ourselves,
from trusting and committing, from going with the “flow”
and moreover it offers us a brilliant opportunity
to howl out across the vast cold universe

Sun Venus and Lilith
. representing the dynamic outlet for the kite
. and directly opposing the soft waters of the Cancer Moon
allow for a grounding and retaining clarity, preserving and consolidating our initiatives
while channelling our passion and creative urge, offer hope for realising our ambitions
without fear of failing and generate dharma
other notable aspects in the chart are :
- a stellium formed by Sun, Venus, Saturn, Pluto, Lilith all in the patriarchal unemotional sign of Capricorn standing for the outside world
- a Grand Water Trine between Moon in Cancer, Neptune in Pisces and Mars-Jupiter in Scorpio
- Uranus in Aries turning direct
- Lilith gives the fierce rebellious extremist never-say-die aspect behind current events and period
- since the moon’ s passage at one end of the “triangle” only lasted for a few hours - therefore one can not separate it from the overall “pattern” described here - as a result its grace would also dynamically depend on the Capricorn stellium ... ultimately depending all on Saturn

symbol for your consideration:
A chinese woman nursing a baby whose aura reveals him to be the reincarnation of a great teacher.
Key: The revelation of latent worth in an experience once it is seen in its deeper meaning.
In contrast to the “clown” symbol, which shows us man’s capacity to criticize and laugh at his superficial mannerisms and automatic habits or gestures, we now have a symbol which demands that we look beyond common appearances and try to discover the “occult” (i.e. hidden) character of every person and every experience. This symbol has been unduly glamorized: there is no particular reference here to an avatar or messiah, except in the sense that every man is potentially the avatar or manifestation of a Soul that has a definite and relatively unique function in the vast field of activity we call the Earth. To discover this occult potential of being, one requires a deeper or higher “vision,” a holistic perception — which is usually, but not always justifiably, called clairvoyance. The caricaturist also has to develop a special kind of “seeing” to enable him to extract the salient features of an outer personality or of a face. He picks out the most characteristic parts of a whole; the true clairvoyant perceives the essential meaning (or “message” and function) of the whole.
There may be no particular meaning in the fact that the nursing woman in this symbol is Chinese. Perhaps the psychic who visualized the scene may have mistaken a Tibetan for a Chinese woman, and unconsciously thought of the rather familiar process through which a new Dalai Lama, or other great Lamas, are searched for among newborn babies. The Keyword is REVELATION.
