hours after the Earth passes its 0° Cancer solstice point - 20.6.2020
the New Moon occurs at 0°21 Cancer (same degree as eclipse of 21 june 2001) and stages an annular solar eclipse or ring of fire when the Sun and Moon align with the Earth - 21.6.2020

New Moon quincunx Saturn in Aquarius and five retrograde planets : 
Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto
are all aspects during this lunation which inflict necessary restriction and delays on the new cycle's impetus

Many steps have recently led to this point - in particular since the eclipse 26.12.2019 which was followed by the great alignment of Saturn Pluto and later Jupiter in Capricorn .. 
since then, the lunar nodes have moved from the Cancer-Capricorn axis to Gemini-Sagittarius 
therefore even-though Saturn doesn't play as much of a grinder as it did before and its brief step-into Aquarius was to prepare the 'grounds' for the future 
Mercury and Jupiter the nodes' rulers are currently both retrogrades in Cancer-Capricorn  
indicating that after much karmic release we will now be asked to embrace a new sense of truth

this eclipse portal truly shows us how miraculous the universe and our existence are : a global systemic 'reset' such as that of 2020 couldn't possibly come without deep adjustments and a slowing down before stepping forward... in that sense the lockdown period was a blessed pause 

the shift has nevertheless already happened - and there's no room for the old world's flawed structures and behaviours 
no matter how much the blindfolded and regressive reactionaries  
may want to pull push trick beat and enslave 
there's no stopping the new era 
it will sweep everything and everyone
this solar eclipse at 0°21 Cancer invites us 
to clear the remnant trans-generational outdated blueprints which may still inhibit us 
and allow room for our truest nature / authentic self to emerge

We have now reached a square to the beginning of the cyclic process. This is a moment of crisis, a sharp turning point. In the zodiacal cycle, at the summer solstice the northward motion of the sun (in "decimation") stops; the sun rises and sets as far north of exact east and west as it can during the year-cycle. Its motion is now reversed. Slowly the sunset points move southward on the western horizon, and the length of the day decreases. In the lunation cycle this is the First Quarter phase. 
On the "ship" which symbolizes the ego-consciousness floating, as it were, on the sea of the vast Unconscious, the individualized will makes a basic decision. The dominant Yang force allows the Yin force to begin its six-month long rise to power. The "collective" will gradually overcomes the "individual," and at the end the state will overpower the person. Now, however, the individual person enjoys his most glorious hour; he exults in his ability to make a "free decision"- i.e. to act as an individual who selects his life goal and his allegiance.
In a decisive act heavy with consequences, the symbolic college youth might realize that he should bring to an end his quest for the ideal companion and enter into matrimony. He assents to the possibility of progeny, of home responsibility. His consciousness accepts a process of fundamental REORIENTATION, implying the stabilization of his energies.
