Key: The sheer power of personality in times that call for decision. Calculation of solar and lunar eclipses from 14th century manuscript:   "The Wonders of Creation"  by al-Qazwini continuing the 2016 personal/collective recalibration after we made our way through the last March eclipse and the over-six-months-long "re" cleansing period, we are now approaching the energy field of a clock-resetting eclipse season in the Virgo/Pisces axis.. Mercury is about to turn retrograde on 31 August and the following day on 1 September, the new moon aligns with the Nodes in a solar eclipse at 09°21′ Virgo which will fully activate the challenges and distorting influences of the square between Saturn (Sagittarius) Neptune (Pisces) engaging our 'being' at all levels, these enormous energies at hand indicate the disappearance of massive areas of our karmic past, this process comes with a lingering sense of angst, fear, guilt, depression... so my suggestion is to observe without clinging how they come about and let them diss

During this Full Moon, the Sun in Pisces is conjunct Chiron and Neptune and Venus is about to join in when she enters Pisces the following day... while the Moon in Virgo is trine to Pluto, quincux Uranus, and sextile to Saturn which in turn is trine the Sun. Jupiter seats at the apex point of a T-square, forming an exact square to the Moon - Sun axis Mercury which turned retrograde a couple of days ago will be in exact conjunction to Mars at 19° Pisces on the following day. The mutable Virgo Pisces axis represents a transition and indicates adaptability. momentum : the harvest

have you noticed how the new moon falling before the Libra ingress / fall equinox is always a major momentum in the astrological year ? New Moon 8/9/2010 10:29:49GMT 7e15 43n42 the Virgo new moon corresponds to the harvest month and represents the mid-cycle 'gathering' impulse, from all our earlier responses to cosmic conditions since the Aries ingress - it is in fact a 'karmic' moment, when our sowing and labor lead up to fruit bearing, when the result of our intentions, actions and reactions is made manifest .. hence the symbol of the virgin (initial idea/concept) holding a sheaf of wheat (now given physical form). the planet Mercury is the main ruler of Virgo and gives it the detached mental acuity for precise detailed "work", while understandably so Ceres, now considered a secondary ruler, enhances the provider and nurturer dimensions of the sign as well as its intimate relationship to Nature .   as i looked at this chart, the first

total lunar eclipse - Feb 08

Image
Nasa A total eclipse of the Moon occurs during the night of Wednesday, February 20/21, 2008. The entire event is visible from South America and most of North America as well as Western Europe and Africa. During a total lunar eclipse, the Moon's disk can take on a dramatically colorful appearance from bright orange to blood red to dark brown and (rarely) very dark gray. An eclipse of the Moon can only take place at Full Moon, and only if the Moon passes through some portion of Earth's shadow. The shadow is actually composed of two cone-shaped parts, one nested inside the other. The outer shadow or penumbra is a zone where Earth blocks some (but not all) of the Sun's rays. In contrast, the inner shadow or umbra is a region where Earth blocks all direct sunlight from reaching the Moon. chart for the total lunar eclipse feb 21 2008, (on the 20th for the US) Nice (FR), 3:31 AM (univ. time) 2° Virgo: A Large White Cross Dominates The Landscape.
