During this Full Moon, the Sun in Pisces is conjunct Chiron and Neptune and Venus is about to join in when she enters Pisces the following day... while the Moon in Virgo is trine to Pluto, quincux Uranus, and sextile to Saturn which in turn is trine the Sun. Jupiter seats at the apex point of a T-square, forming an exact square to the Moon - Sun axis Mercury which turned retrograde a couple of days ago will be in exact conjunction to Mars at 19° Pisces on the following day. The mutable Virgo Pisces axis represents a transition and indicates adaptability. With the February New Moon started the chinese year of the Water Snake. New Moon, 10 February 2013, 7:20:07 gmt, 7e15, 43n42 Symbol for the New Moon: A rug is placed on the floor of a nursery to allow children to play in comfort and warmth. Key: The warmth of understanding which comes to those who, early in life, are open to new possibilities.  Man is never left without assistance when eagerly seeking to grow emotionally and spiritually. Even if he does not consciously realize the intent and value of what sustains his self-development and cushions the shocks which life provides his growth in understanding, still the assistance is there. He may think: No one understands me. But the understanding is there if he does not egotistically take for granted that life and society owe him everything. This symbol contrasts the kindness inherent in so many of life's situations with the tragic feeling of disillusionment. Through a warm APPRECIATION of basic opportunities

While we are still under the sober influence of Saturn in Scorpio's sextile and mutual reception to Pluto in Capricorn, the first New Moon of 2013 has a stellium with five planets and Juno in Capricorn where the energies are concentrated to really start the season. The Sun.Moon.Mercury conjonction in Capricorn doesn't make aspects other than a loose sextile to the North Node in Scorpio. Meanwhile Venus, still in sextile with Neptune and Chiron in Piscis, is fast approaching Juno.Pluto in Capricorn and their square to Uranus in Aries and on the other hand Mars in Aquarius is slowly separating from a trine to Jupiter in Gemini and a square to Saturn in Scorpio. Key : The realization that one may grow through defeat as well as, and perhaps more than, through success.  While the preceding symbol referred to the drive

The Pythia during this full moon activating the December 2012 solstice the Cancer Moon is opposing the Sun conjunct Pluto which is part of three major triangular patterns : a Kite, a T-Square and a Yod.  Cancer full moon 28 December 2012, 10:21:11 gmt, 7e15, 43n42 The T-Square involving Sun.Pluto, Moon and Uranus is once again triggering the social tensions currently at play (Uranus Pluto ongoing square). But we may be seeing some solutions to this 'crisis' now with the help of the kite formation. A Kite pattern is formed as Sun.Pluto are at the apex point opposite the Moon in Cancer which is in a grand trine with Saturn in Scorpio and Chiron.Neptune in Pisces. Sun.Pluto stand in sextiles with the latter two and can thus allow for the outward objective manifestation of the balanced self-sufficient fullness of the water trine configuration. In mutual reception, Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn are sextile and inconjunct to Jupit

photo by Gada & Lodriguss "One of the most spectacular sights in all of nature is the corona during a total solar eclipse. The corona is the sun's atmosphere. It actually extends far out into the solar system, well past the Earth. It has an extremely wide brightness range of more than 10,000 to 1, and although the human eye has the ability to accommodate it and see detail in the brightest portions near the lunar limb as well as the faintest parts in the outer sections, normal photographic film is not able to record such a great range of contrast. One of the greatest challenges for the eclipse photographer is to record on film an image that even remotely approximates what can be seen visually." This eclipse totality will be visible in the south pacific from northern Australia to the Juan Fernandez islands.  Total Solar Eclipse chart New Moon 13 November 2012 at 22:08 gmt, for 7e15, 43n42 symbol 22° Scorpio Rudhyar: Hunters shooting wil

A Conversation with Myself

Image
A Conversation with Myself - Alan Watts A 1971 television recording with Alan Watts walking in the mountains and talking about the limitations of technology and the problem of trying to keep track of an infinite universe with a single tracked mind. Video posted by Alan's son and courtesy of alanwatts.com. 'Using an aesthetic now rarely seen on television, A Conversation With Myself captures, in only two unbroken shots, an informal “lecture” delivered by Watts straight to the viewer. Speaking first amid the abundant greenery surrounding his Mount Tamalpais cabin and then over a cup of ceremonial Japanese green tea (“good on a cold day”), he explains why he thinks we have thus far failed to comprehend the world and our interference with it.' - (Colin Marshall )
